Our practice is trying to meet the needs of the community through 1-2 open new patient appointments a day.

Our telehealth virtual appointment visits (via a secure portal) follow the same guidelines as the in person office visit ( as mandated by the American Medical Association, or AMA). Please make sure your medical insurance covers this type of visit.

Your Child's / Your First Visit

Welcome to PCAG! We look forward to your initial visit!

Our practice is dedicated to caring for patients from newborn to 21 years of age with conditions related to the gastrointestinal (GI) system.

Our goal is to give you an expert and up-to-date evaluation and to educate you about any problems we may diagnose at your initial visit. Call our practice today to schedule an appointment.

If you are a new patient our friendly staff can direct you to the correct form.

What should we expect during the first visit?

During your child's, or your first visit, our specialists will conduct a thorough evaluation, which may include a discussion of medical history, symptoms, and any necessary examinations. We aim to create a supportive atmosphere where your child feels safe and understood.

How can we prepare for the appointment?

Before the appointment please make sure all the forms are sent to us completely filled out, with copies of the front & back of the insurance card/ guarantors driver’s license, including any global authorization from your insurance (as needed).
Send us all relevant medical records, a list of medications, and a list of any questions or concerns you may have, with your objective for the appointment.

What if my child is nervous?

It's completely normal for children to feel anxious about medical visits. We encourage you to talk to your child about what to expect and reassure them that our team is here to help.

What is your policy in terms of the visit and examination?

Great Question!
A parent/ caregiver or chaperone will always be present during a physical examination with your baby/child/adolescent/ young adult as the case may be.
If your adolescent wishes to speak in private, there will be a chaperone.
